By Briget Heidmous
May 7, 6 to 8 PM
Femme Fatale DC
DREAM ROOM is a creative workshop for the dreamer in you.
Join Briget Heidmous, Danielle Naeve, and Stroll Magazine to fundraise from Femme Fatale DC’s brick-and-mortar locating in Cleveland Park.
What if you had a room just for you?
A space without utility, without expectation. Just an extra room that you, and only you, can access.
What do you want it to feel like?
What do you want it to look like?
What do you want to experience in there?
We will start with a quick introduction to the Feng Shui Bagua, an ancient Chinese map that outlines ways to organize spaces to align with Chi. In other words, it is an ancient map useful in organizing space for energetic flow and amplification.
You’re invited to respond to prompts, free-write your ideas, and create concept art for your dream room In a facilitated creative environment.
The following materials will be provided:
8x8 Cardstock
Magazines for collage
Briget’s studio scraps
Markers
Pens
You are encouraged to bring magazines from home to share - please limit to magazines like Vogue, Architectural Digest, National Geographic, Highlights, and Stroll Magazine. Stay away from People, US Weekly, and other tabloids.
