MISSION MATRIX MODEL

A mission statement is where why meets how.

The Mission Matrix Model is a framework designed with self-actualization in mind. This is a process designed for you, you are invited to look inward to uncover your why and your how, translating that into easily shareable statement of purpose.

Start with emotions means starting with your internal world, your internal messaging. Moving on to action allows you to consider how your internal messaging impacts your behavior, the actions you take and what might be driving them.

The next step is to write in an exploratory way about the emotions and actions you sorted through. Ask and start answering questions here. Stake claim to who you are here. Connect with thoughts and behaviors that you have not previously recognized. Most importantly - be honest with yourself. You don’t have to share this with anyone.

Lastly a distillation process: you are sorting through what is there and pulling out what is most potent. In this process you are called to look at what you have written pull forward key desires and action statements. And begin formulating them into a statement of purpose. Your mission statement.

The Mission Matrix Model, designed by Briget Heidmous, is an process of iterations. Revisit, revise and hone in on what is most authentically you. This is something you can do as often as you like.
