EVERYTHING EVOLVES // FRIDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2018 // 102 W. CO. AVE. COS. CO.

Everything Evolves addresses the complexity of evolution under this definition: an entity’s “biological” response to a series of stimulus. This collaborative experience is presented with the subtext that evolution requires our presence, not our full attention. Physical presence is required to be subject to evolution and attention, concerted effort (if you will), is essential when guiding processes of change.

Who’s who? And, who does what?

THE ETHOS

Everything Evolves | Friday 5 October 2018 | 6 - 10 PM | 102 West Colorado Ave. COS. CO. 80903

Rā-Tra Creative (B. Heidmous) and Think Tank (L. Schiff) present Everything Evolves, a one night experience, featuring multiple presentations of performative art and craft addressing evolution. The event will take place on Friday 5 October 2018, the First Friday of National Arts Month. Schiff and Heidmous are Colorado Springs “natives” concentrating their attention on our cities development of community, social wellbeing and culture.

Colorado Springs is undergoing a rapid process of change. We, artists and entrepreneurs, are focusing our attention and effort on the personal and financial wellbeing of our communities. In this collaboration we highlight the interdependence of art and enterprise in our growing city, national and global communities.

Everything Evolves, addresses the complexity of evolution under this definition: an entity’s “biological” response to a series of stimulus. This collaborative experience is presented with the subtext that evolution requires our presence, not our full attention. Physical presence is required to be subject to evolution and attention, concerted effort (if you will), is essential when guiding processes of change.

Rā-Tra Creative is devoted to developing creative collaborations that engage multiple disciplines and formats.

Think Tank is a creative studio that supports and cultivates intersections between artistry, entrepreneurialism and community.

The work of art that sparked this event is a performance entitled BY-PRODUCT by Briget Heidmous. The performance confronts transmutation, resources and the constant change that occurs in the periphery of our conscious experience.
